Graeme McDowell
On the course Graeme’s greatest achievements, so far in his career, include victory at the 2010 US Open Champion at Pebble Beach and in the same year sealing victory in the Ryder Cup for Europe at Celtic Manor. Off the course Graeme enjoys spending time with his family and friends in both Florida and his birthplace Portrush, watching football and movies.

The G-Mac Foundation was set up by my wife, Kristin and I and supports children’s medical research in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and in the United States.
In 2013 Graeme opened the Nona Blue Modern Tavern restaurant and bar outside Lake Nona in Orlando and in 2016 he opened Nona Blue Ponte Vedra Beach just outside the gates of PGA TOUR headquarters. Included on the menu is the must-try G-Mac and Cheese!

In 2022 Graeme teamed up with Global Award Winning Beverage Company to launch a new Irish Whiskey with an American Finish. “Grey Coast is a representation of me and my life. From overseeing every aspect of the brand to doing numerous tastings until the unique blend of whiskies was just right, I’ve worked hard to ensure this whiskey reflects who I am – and I couldn’t be happier with the result.” Grey Coast Whiskey is available across North America and Ireland.

Lying close to the ocean and not far from central Adelaide, the Grange Golf Club frequently features in lists of Australia’s top golf courses.
The course, redesigned in recent years by LIV Golf Commissioner & CEO Greg Norman, plays to every inch of its 6,840 yards and presents a stiff test for even the finest golfers – as we’re about to see.
The firm and fast greens demand the utmost precision and could play into the hands of local hero Cam Smith, renowned as one of the best putters in the world. The players that move best on the dancefloor and revel in the amazing Aussie atmosphere are likely to prevail.

The Blue Monster has been earning its name for over half a century, taming the greats of our game with its endless perils.
This 7,701-yard course is practically more water than land, so vast are the lakes that lie in wait around every corner. The fairways are wafer-thin, the greens are fiercely guarded and the 18th hole is one of the most ruthless finishers in all of golf.
The 2023 Team Championship was held here and produced a moment of magic that will live long in the memory. Bryson DeChambeau hit a Hail Mary Birdie on the 16th which came from behind the hospitality stand, a pivotal moment as his Crushers GC clinched one of their famous comebacks.
That’s the kind of thing that can happen at the Blue Monster. Now, who’s going to pull a rabbit from the hat this time?

LIV GOLF UK By JCB
Jul 26-28, 2024
Graeme’s week at JCB Golf & Country Club ended with a T29 place. It was a strong start for Graeme on Friday with an excellent four-under opener. After an early bogey, G-Mac responded with six birdies and just one more bogey to sit tied for sixth. It was tough going for the Portrush man on Saturday with four dropped shots after just five holes. In true G-Mac style he then showed his grit to reduce the damage with three birdies in the next five holes to get to one under after ten holes. After a string of pars his round took a knock with a double bogey on 18 (his 15th hole on the day) followed by another bogey to drop him back. Again he managed to not give in and fired a birdie to end the day with a round of +3. On Sunday, Graeme was par after nine holes, this included three birdies cancelled out by three bogeys. With his team Smash GC in contention, Graeme dug in and came home on the back nine one under under par, one under on the day.
