Graeme McDowell
On the course Graeme’s greatest achievements, so far in his career, include victory at the 2010 US Open Champion at Pebble Beach and in the same year sealing victory in the Ryder Cup for Europe at Celtic Manor. Off the course Graeme enjoys spending time with his family and friends in both Florida and his birthplace Portrush, watching football and movies.
The G-Mac Foundation was set up by my wife, Kristin and I and supports children’s medical research in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and in the United States.
In 2013 Graeme opened the Nona Blue Modern Tavern restaurant and bar outside Lake Nona in Orlando and in 2016 he opened Nona Blue Ponte Vedra Beach just outside the gates of PGA TOUR headquarters. Included on the menu is the must-try G-Mac and Cheese!
In 2022 Graeme teamed up with Global Award Winning Beverage Company to launch a new Irish Whiskey with an American Finish. “Grey Coast is a representation of me and my life. From overseeing every aspect of the brand to doing numerous tastings until the unique blend of whiskies was just right, I’ve worked hard to ensure this whiskey reflects who I am – and I couldn’t be happier with the result.” Grey Coast Whiskey is available across North America and Ireland.

BMW PGA Championship
After a great final round of 67 Graeme finished in T24 place at Wentworth. During the practice day Graeme was joined by legendary coach Peter Cowen for some bunker drills as part of the #GMacTips series (Watch above). “It was really pleasing to make the cut and the confidence returning, on the final day I was feeling relaxed and played some lovely golf”, “I always enjoy playing here and the course was in fantastic shape, a big thank you to all involved”.

Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open
Graeme misses the cut in North Berwick, Scotland at the The Renaissance Club for the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open.
He took advantage of benign afternoon conditions to open with a two-under 69 but dropped below the cut line with a second round 74.
After breaking 70 for the first time in two months Graeme said “I certainly feel like I am turning the corner with my game a little bit”, “It has been getting very technical with my golf swing, and I am really trying to clear the head a little bit and play some golf and start trusting my technique a little bit. I am just trying to build that confidence back up again.”

International Series England – Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
Graeme finished in tied 15th place on -3 at the first Asian Tour event in the UK, played at SLALEY Hall hotel, spa and golf resort.
Graeme scored rounds of 70, 69, 70 and 72.
About the event:
SLALEY Hall hotel, spa and golf resort welcomed golfers as the Asian Tour brings its International Series England to Northumberland.
The highly anticipated US$2 million golf tournament attracted global stars and ran from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.
It is the first event staged by the Asian Tour in the UK and admission was free. It is also one of ten top-tier events announced by LIV Golf investments and the Asian Tour which make up the all-new International Series as part of an unprecedented $300million investment in the game.
