Grey Coast

Grey Coast Irish Whiskey is a collaboration between professional golfer Graeme McDowell and family-owned Boann Distillery located just north of Dublin, Ireland.

Grey Coast Irish Whiskey is crafted using a unique combination of casks and whiskey styles that give Grey Coast its inviting and unforgettable flavor profile.

The Virgin American Oak casks imbue notes of warm vanilla and delicious honeycomb, which invite the imbiber in to the glass to discover a whole host of other flavors. Undertones of luscious golden syrup expertly layered by the ex-bourbon barrels playfully swirl in the glass and are complemented by Oloroso sherry casks’ notes of almond, red fruits and spice.

My Grey Coast is alive, and I am connected to it always.

My Grey Coast is Portrush, a seaside town where I was inspired by hardworking people and tested by the ever-changing elements. It’s where people lead by example, reminding you that nothing in life is given, and everything you hold dear is earned. I chose my path, I committed to the work, and I hope I inspired others.

My Grey Coast is where my story takes flight and it remains with me today. There is wonder and magic in the four seasons that play out in a day, with the shores sparkling in the morning sun and then transforming into hues of greys and black as the storms roll in.

My Grey Coast is a passionate reminder that wherever I am, I am grounded by where I came from. My memories are a portal that transports me to the defining sights, sounds, and flavours that connect me to home.

My Grey Coast is real and it is symbolic of the qualities that I aspire to daily. There is beauty to discover, opportunity with each new tide and a reminder that like the ever-present water crashing onto the shore, life never stands still.
